There are a number of programs that cater for the children of our congregation at the 10am Service at St Matthew's. These include: - Creche : For Children under 3.
- 'All Aboard' : For Children between 3 and 5. 'All Aboard' is a fun and educational bridging class, preparing the very young for Sunday school.
- 'The Ark' ": Our Sunday school for children from the ages and 6 and up.
At St. Andrew’s, Upper Plain each Thursday during term time is The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. For children from 3 to 12yrs. A Christian formation programme using the child development theories of Maria Montessori. More information regarding our children's ministries will be detailed shortly. |

 St. Andrew's Atrium - Upper Plain
Our new year began once schools had resumed in early February each Thursday. We moved all the school age children up to the next level where each will experience Christian Formation as, in Maria Montessori terms, the moral child. This will cover a deeper understanding of the Eucharist, the moral parables, an understanding of the time line from creation, through redemption to parousia, silence and deeper prayer, more specific geography of the Holy Land and beginning to develop liturgy for themselves. |
